In order to add additional incentive for registering Think Ahead+, a few features in the program have been disabled or limited. Also, upon the first use a “Days-in-Use” counter is activated. Each time to run the program, a dialog will appear displaying the number of days the program has been in use. A Sample of the dialog is displayed below:
Example Shareware Days-in-Use dialog

30 Day Evaluation
You have up to 30 days to evaluate the program after you first use it. I think this should be enough time to decide if you like the program or not. If you have not registered the program by the end of the trial period then each time you run the program another dialog will be displayed telling you the trial period has elapsed and informing you that it's time to register the program, trade it, or trash it. The program will not expire however, and will continue to function as a Shareware version.
Whenever you try to use a feature of the program that is disabled in the Shareware version you will see this dialog:

Disabled Features
• Playing at Advanced, Expert, or Pro levels in a One-player game.
• Save Game Settings
Limited Features
• Maximum of two Scrambles per game.
• Maximum of two Mystery Boxes per game.
• Maximum of two Rotations per game.
Reminder Dialogs
The Shareware version will sometimes display a message dialog when you begin each new game reminding you that you should register the game if you like it. These reminders will not show up once you register Think Ahead+.

As you can see, only a few advanced features are not available and you can play complete games with the “Shareware” version and get a good feel for the game. This will let you evaluate the game properly and decide if you want to continue using it and register or not. However, if you decide that Think Ahead+ is not the game for you, please pass on a clean “Shareware” copy to a friend who may enjoy it.
